# Chrome & Grime > A playful genre game for adults: list up to six ordinary moments, answer six quick cues about each, and see which shopfront sign lights up on a night street - full neon, chrome gloss, back alley or unlit. It borrows the genre shorthand "high tech, low life". URL: https://chrome-and-grime.skillsafe.ai/ API tutorial: https://chrome-and-grime.skillsafe.ai/api.html ## What it does - You list moments (tapping through a ticket gate, fixing a bike chain with a hair tie, a late bus with earbuds in) with an optional line on what happened. - For each moment you answer six cues with No, A little or Clearly. Chrome: a screen or scanner was in the middle of it; a system made the call; tech rode on your body. Grime: something was broken or makeshift; you worked round the rules; it was cheap, crowded or after dark. - Free, in the browser: chrome (0-6) and grime (0-6) per moment, a verdict with fixed rules (chrome 3+ and grime 3+ full neon, chrome 3+ chrome gloss, grime 3+ back alley, otherwise unlit), the strongest cue, the change that would flip each moment into or out of full neon, the brightest sign, an SVG/PNG night street, and Markdown, CSV and JSON downloads. - Metered (one run on gpt-terra): a reading per moment built from your own answers, the flip described in everyday terms, and a short sign lettered from the moment's own words. The run never changes the page's verdicts. ## Contract POST https://api.skillsafe.ai/v1/app-api/run with string fields: task = "read-moments", moments (one numbered line per moment with its six answers), facts (the page's chrome and grime, verdicts, strongest cues, flips, counts and the brightest sign). The reply is one JSON object: {task, headline, moments: [{name, verdict, reading, flip, sign}], closing}. ## Notes A playful game, not a judgement of anyone's life. Built on the SkillSafe skill @bergside/neon (https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@bergside/neon), which sets the signs' neon tubes and the night street's palette.
